Harvest 2007

As the long range weather forecast calls for lots of rain after Oct. 14, we have to start picking the grapes sooner than anticipated. Friends will join Pauline and I on Monday morning to pick the Pinot Gris. There is about 1.5 tonnes of grapes on the vines.

Early morning, in the fog, 9 of our friends came to help pick the Pinot Gris. Mid-morning the sun came out and it got quite hot. At the end of the day, we had picked 504 kilograms (1/2 a metric tonne). "Thank you" to the picking crew.
